Hicks has practiced law in Dallas for more than 40 years, served on various non-profit boards in a variety of roles, and participated in dozens of trials and mediations.
He is uniquely qualified to mediate disputes involving wills, inheritance, trusts, and leadership succession within small and family businesses and nonprofit organizations. Hicks is available to mediate disputes privately pre-litigation, and to facilitate collaborative mediations.
Hicks's formal mediation training includes the AAA's prestigious 40-hour mediator training course, a Collaborative Law training certificate, and advanced mediation training from the Texas State Bar.
